PREVIEW OF COMING ATTRACTIONS: The Snow Bride

Here's a sneak peek at the up and coming Snow Bride, an editorial by destination photographer A.K Sandhu who once upon a time modeled for me (see Le Jardin editorial).  Now that she's switched sides of the camera, her numero uno preference is wedding photography.  Last week she took a few of my gowns, wraps and hats up to Lake Tahoe for a snow shoot.  She's really captured the awesome winter wonderland beauty of the Tahoe landscape here. Lanikai Destination Wedding, Oahu: John and Lisa

John and Lisa's intimate destination wedding in Lanikai can be described as simple elegance. They exchanged vows in front of a few family members on the lanai of a private hillside residence that overlooked the Mokuluas. After the ceremony, we hurried down to the beach to take a few quick photos before nightfall. Congratulations to John and Lisa!

Kailua Wedding: Meagan and Kirk

This post has more images than usual thanks to Meagan's 5-year-old son, Grant! He is so cute - we couldn't help but take a lot of photos of him. The couple and Grant traveled from snowy Idaho to have their destination wedding at a friend's oceanfront home on Kailua Beach during spring break. The windy overcast weather did not dampen the spirits of anyone at this joyful celebration. At the reception, the bride's niece danced the hula and the officiant and his wife, friends of the couple, sang the Hawaiian Wedding Song beautifully.

Moana Surfrider Hawaii Destination Wedding: Shah & Fera

Fera and Shah from California tied the knot in a beautiful Persian ceremony on the oceanfront Terrace of the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki last month. They also hosted an elegant pre-wedding dinner at the upscale Beach House Restaurant at the Moana for their guests. Congratulations and best wishes to the happy couple!
