Summer's on its way and the weather here is already in the upper 80's! So today i thought I'd do a quick pic galley featuring sporty hijab fashion styles and ideas*. Its no longer chic to be a couch potato mama. Fit is in! So get out there and hit the gym, bike trail, paint ball concourse, - whatever gets your blood pumping :)Take some inspiration from these sporty ideas for modest ladies!
While i dont know where to get the other styles, i can tell you that the bottom hijab sport pic is from Shukr Online!
*please read the hijab fashion disclaimer at the top of the blog.
Are you a lover of jilbab? I especially like the jilbab pant sets! Its basically a modest suit, with an extended jacket. Perfect for work or play. These range from professional designs all the way to ornate evening/soiree styles. Everyone needs at least one basic button down jilbab (especially in the fall and winter) and a light weight jilbab pants suit. Love em!
Just a quick post with some pretty new hijab fashion designs by Marwa Hamed - Egyptian Veil Artist. Great ideas for your next henna party or wahlimah. I love the turban-style wraps that are becoming popular. Very chic. Enjoy!
*As with most hijab fashion style posts, these pics are more appropriate for ladies/Mahram events. Styles should be augmented to meet the conditions for hijab.
Arn't Khaliji designs so ornate and gorgeous? You just feel like a queen wearing one of their abayas or caftans because they are so regal and elegant. I love busting these out for dinners and family get-togethers. Enough said. So this is my little meditation on red abayas/caftans :)
Beautiful Spanish Flower Hijabicap style has "flower" applique piece attached to the back of the cap. this helps hide your bun. This Hijabicap style mimics the "Spanish wrap" that has become so popular today. A very trendy piece. Comes with neck covers. You will probably need something else to cover your neck in addition. Get them Here! :)
Here is a quick video showing a beautiful makeup and veil design by Jailan Atef. She is an Egyptian makeup and veil artist. This design is really beautiful and would make a great formal style for a wedding or other dressy ladies occasion. Enjoy!
A pretty and quick Asian oblong hijab wrap design. A great way to take advantage of scarves with fringe! I like this style because it leaves room for you to play with the length in the front. :) Makes a pretty, modest look at weddings, parties, wahlimas, etc.
Spring 2009 brings many new hijab options in the Asian Hijab Fashion Market. These cute looks were done by Busana Muslim Filendra, out of Indonesia. Super cute looks, and great for warmer weather!
Asian hijabs come in many varieties, but my favorite is the Hijabicap. These caps are pre-made in many vibrant colors and designs. Most come with neck cover ties, but to be sure you get enough coverage, you might also want an al amira overtube or neck cover underneath. Enjoy!
Just off the runway! Chic Belissima multi-tone oblong hijab style has shiny silver and gold lurex filaments sown into the lines of the scarf. This style is great for wraps and styling. Slightly seethru, you may want an underscarf with this style. Great for parties or events. Comes in pink or black tones.
